I make and sell soap and my home based craft business is called Soap by Susan.

I am married to Bruce Barone, my good man, who is a professional photographer.

Together, and with our mini labradoodle, Freddy and our cat, Nadine, we make our home in West Springfield, MA. We own a teardrop camper, which Bruce Barone uses as a mobile photo studio.

My Mom passed in December 2014, five days after Bruce and I were married.

Since then, many memories and feelings have come up about my childhood and my family experience. I also write about my daily experiences. I have started to write short essays and am happy to share them with you. I am interested in your feedback; so feel free to comment and share.
